Christmas 2024

We'd love you to join us at some, or all(!), of our services over the Christmas period as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, God With Us.

Advent Prayer Space - 6th December, 6pm-Midnight

Join us for a time of prayer and stillness as we enter the Advent season. 

Come for as little or as long as you like. There will be guided moments of prayer and worship, as well as times for reflection and contemplation.

Contemporary Carols - 15th December, 7pm 

A carol service with a more relaxed style, with worship lead by the music group. There'll be a mix of newer songs and classic carols, so everyone will be able to join in!

Blue Christmas - 19th December, 7.30pm

A gentle, contemplative service for those carrying pain or loss during this season. 

All Age Christingle Service - 22nd December, 10am

We remember that Jesus is the Light of the World and create our christingles together. 

Traditional Carol Service - 22nd December, 6.30pm

A traditional candlelit carol service, with music lead by the St James Choir and readings from the Bible.

Crib Service - Christmas Eve, 4pm

A retelling of The Nativity for all the family. Children are encouraged to dress up! 

Midnight Service - Christmas Eve, 11.30pm

A service to welcome in Christmas Day and celebrate the birth of Jesus, with Holy Communion. 

Holy Communion - Christmas Day, 8am

Spoken service from the Book of Common Prayer to celebrate the birth of Jesus, with Holy Communion.

Christmas Service - Christmas Day, 10am

A service to celebrate the birth of Jesus, with Holy Communion.
