Welcome to St James' Church After School & Breakfast Club. We usually run at full capacity & many families stay with us from Reception until the end of year 6 however we do have some turnover. Space is limited but if you would like to join the waiting list, please download & return the admissions form below - we will confirm receipt & contact you by email as soon as place becomes available.

Breakfast Club: Open in Infants' school hall from 8am & we will take the children into school. A buffet breakfast is served until 8.30am. Please see link below for new arrangements for September 2020.
Cost - £5.50 per session (from Easter 2022)
After School: We collect the children from school & parents can pick up from the Infants' hall up to 6pm. We sit down together for a light tea at 4.30pm. Please see link below for new arrangements for September 2020.
Cost - £15 per session (from Easter 2022)
We have a relaxed & inclusive ‘home from home’ environment for children from Reception to Year 6.
We offer crafts, toys, games, occasional themed events (Harvest, Chinese New Year, Burns' Night etc) and make as much use of the outdoor areas as possible.
All activities are optional. The children can let off steam outside or use quieter areas to play in the hall before or after a long day at school.
We have high staff-to-children ratios and the team are there to lead, join in with or supervise activities, as appropriate.
We use email to contact parents - if you are waiting for sessions with us, please look out for emails and if you no longer need a session you are offered, please let us know asap in fairness to other families on the waiting list.
We are sorry that we are unable to offer shorter sessions or sibling discounts.
If we have a space, you can book from the start of the following term & we assume that your child will then stay with us until the end of year 6 unless you tell us otherwise.
We are a provider for Tax Free Childcare - we are registered under St James' Preschool & After School Club. Details about voucher payments & other options below.

Please email any changes to requirements as soon as possible. For last minute changes – please call or text the club phone.
We are usually oversubscribed for all sessions so please apply as early as possible. The waiting list operates on a first come first served basis. Please return the Admissions Form & Medical Form, preferably by email or please drop a paper copy into the Church Office & we will add you to the waiting list. We are sorry that we are not always able to immediately offer all sessions requested.
