The St James Pre-School started up in September 2001 following the refurbishment of Church House. With so many Pre-Schools in the community, this is not just another one! It is run as a non-profit -making concern and all money received is put back into the School.
We currently have 60 families on our books and most mornings and afternoons have the maximum of 20 children. The Pre-School has 13 members of staff.
The Pre-School aims to produce a happy safe stimulating and Christian environment, to produce the best opportunities for each child. The children are offered a full range of experiences and activities, which are planned to promote learning through play.
The Pre-School is regularly inspected by OFSTED. Their Reports are available on the OFSTED website.
The school is supported by the Pre-School Management Commitee who meet on a regular basis, and report to the P.C.C
