Funerals
Facing bereavement is always difficult.
What to do when someone dies
You find yourself faced with having to arrange a funeral and dealing with all sorts of administrative problems. It is often best to start by contacting a funeral director. They can help you make the necessary arrangements up to and including the funeral service.
The clergy are available to help plan the service whether it is to take place in the church or in the local crematorium or cemetery chapel. They are also ready to talk with you about any aspects of bereavement.
Help in thinking about the service is also available on the Church of England Funeral Page.
There is a government leaflet which is available here which works through many of the administrative matters you may be facing.
