Session 5         Party! Party! Party!

Aims                To be confident in inviting people to meet Jesus through your church friends.

To know how to take a conversation further.

Refreshments will be available in Church Hall from 8.30am for those who may want to arrive a bit earlier and then we shall start each session promptly at 9am. Half way through morning we shall also stop for a short refreshments break.

Format of the course

There are power point slides for each step of the course. Sometimes a video clip is shown. There are small amounts of taught input by the course leader, but much of the course is drawn out from the participants through discussion in pairs and in groups with plenary feedback sessions often on a flipchart.

Each week there is a suggestion of how participants might apply the teaching during the coming week, and after the ~ first week there is an opportunity to share stories of how that went.

Each session ends with a song which participants can listen to or join in with. This is a time to hear from God and to receive healing, comfort, encouragement or inspiration.
